Invitation to the International Graduation Ceremony

You are cordially invited to the International Graduation Ceremony at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, to be held on 27 February 2026 at 10 am in Building K, the Main Hall (Aula).
Useful information
- Please email graduation@bme.hu if your family members need an invitation letter for a visa.
- If your residence permit expires before the ceremony and you intend to stay, you can request a student status certificate (via 027 request or in person during opening hours at Building R) that states the exact date of the ceremony. If you submit this document with a residence permit extension application, the Immigration Office will issue you with either a new residence permit or a temporary residence permit certificate, allowing you to stay in Hungary.
- Important! If you receive your diploma before the Ceremony, you will not be allowed to participate in it – due to administrativeconstraints.
