Call for a campaign by EELISA: Science has no labels

2026.03.10.

Across Europe and beyond, many people still face barriers to fully participating in higher education, research, innovation, and academic life.

On 6th March, a campaign by EELISA European University was launched, highlighting scientists and teams working to make research and innovation more inclusive, accessible, and equitable.

The title of this campaign is the Science Has No Labels – Science is for (and by) all.

Led jointly by the EELISA Communication Network and the EELISA Gender Equality and Diversity workgroup with the support of the EELISA Student Council, Science Has No Labels  is an awareness campaign aimed at shedding light on about the structural inequalities in STEM while celebrating those actively working to overcome them.

Because who participates in science shapes the knowledge we produce – and the society we build.

Each EELISA member institution has selected a participant or team from their community whose work reflects this commitment. Throughout March and April, their profiles and their stories will be gradually added to the page of the campaign.
