Master in Circular Economy Design and Development Engineering

Our Master’s programme equips students to apply circular economy principles in both engineering and economic contexts, with a strong emphasis on designing complex systems and integrating sustainability. It brings together multidisciplinary knowledge in resource efficiency, green technologies and industrial innovation, developed in collaboration with industry and informed by leading international practice. The programme is highly practice-oriented, using project-based learning and real-world challenges to develop teamwork and problem-solving skills in an international environment. Graduates are well prepared to design and evaluate environmental and resource management systems, pursue research and development roles, or continue to doctoral studies across industry, academia and the public sector.

Admission Criteria

Degree accepted for admittance into the Engineering Manager Master programme OR Master’s in Engineering Management programme.

In case of BA/BSc in Engineering/Natural Sciences it is necessary to prove a minimum of 60 ECTS equivalent in the following disciplines:

  • 20 ECTS in Natural sciences (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, ecology)
  • 10 ECTS in Economic and social sciences (economics, legal studies, management, leadership and organisation, project management, communication, social sciences)
  • 5 ECTS in IT skills (computer science, information systems, programming)
  • 25 ECTS in Engineering professional knowledge (design, development, process control, energy technologies, mechanical engineering)

Admission to the programme requires that applicants already possess at least 30 credits from the above fields. Missing credits must be completed during the Master’s programme in accordance with the institution’s academic and examination regulations.

ECTS-proof

ECTS-proof is compulsory for all applicants regardless of their preliminary studies and the discipline of BA/BSc diploma

English language skills at B2 level, proven by one of the following internationally recognised certificates:
