Starting in February 2023<\/strong>, the Faculty’s lecturers and those working in administrative positions supporting their work have had the opportunity to bring various GTK professional information materials, souvenirs, educational brochures, etc. to partners during their trips abroad. We are delighted that 16 of our Ambassadors spread the good word of our Faculty in the first 7 months of the programme, which is a testament to its success. Our 12 teaching staff and 4 colleagues working in administrative positions reached a total of 9 countries: from the Nordic countries (Finland, Norway) to neighbouring nations (Romania, Austria) to further afield (Cyprus, France, Spain, Ireland, Belgium).<\/p>\n In 2024<\/strong>, almost the same number of colleagues visited abroad and brought the Faculty\u2019s reputation to the world as in the first year. The interest from colleagues was therefore still unbroken. Within the framework of the 11 implemented faculty mobilities, several GTK lecturers travelled to the Netherlands and Finland to learn innovative teaching and pedagogical methods, conduct joint research with partners, and give lectures to foreign students. After their return, they have used their experience in education and research in their work, from which GTK students benefit. In addition to sharing education at BME GTK, our colleagues also visited Greece, France, Sweden, and Lithuania to strengthen the relationship between institutions and explore new cooperation opportunities. We are proud that 5 of our administrative staff also participated in staff mobility: they attended courses aimed at developing their English language skills and exchanged experiences with colleagues in similar positions.<\/p>\n Staff mobility increased significantly in 2025<\/strong>, as nearly 100 trips were carried out at our Faculty. In addition to the 86 training-related mobilities, 10 of our colleagues travelled to our foreign partner institutions for educational purposes. Our staff have visited almost every corner of Europe and even travelled outside the \u2018old continent\u2019 (United States, Kenya, Turkey, Japan, China). We could proudly say that GTK staff had served as Ambassadors for our Faculty across four continents. During the mobilities, the focus was on cross-cultural education, joint research, strengthening the relationship between institutions and exploring new cooperation opportunities (among others).<\/p>\n The first half of 2026<\/strong> saw an even stronger increase in the popularity of staff mobility. With a record-breaking 203 mobility activities, even more opportunities are opening up for our colleagues to expand the Faculty’s international presence than ever before.
