The project aimed to develop an online calculator which can determine the carbon footprint of BME GTK\u2019s international and domestic mobility activities. The GTK Carbon Calculator provides both students and staff with the opportunity not only to raise awareness but also to offset emissions and make GTK\u2019s processes more environmentally friendly. The implementation of the Carbon Calculator and the related carbon-neutrality programme of GTK align with the goals outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/about\/mission-and-vision\/\"><strong>Faculty\u2019s mission statement<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Carbon Calculator is available <a href=\"https:\/\/carbon-footprint-calculator.gtk.bme.hu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>on this page<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed information on how to use the Carbon Calculator can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/BME-GTK-carbon-footprint-calculator-ENG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a responsible Faculty, GTK \u2013 in line with the goals expressed in its mission statement and strategies \u2013 takes over the annual carbon neutralization of completed outgoing international Erasmus+ mobility programmes from students and staff.
