{"id":6592,"date":"2026-07-22T11:25:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T11:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/?page_id=6592"},"modified":"2026-07-22T11:33:56","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T11:33:56","slug":"procurement-excellence-programme","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/for-students\/certificate-programmes\/procurement-excellence-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Procurement Excellence Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1>Procurement Excellence Programme<\/h1>\n<p>The Procurement Excellence Programme provides students with the opportunity to gain in-depth, practice-oriented knowledge in the fields of procurement and supply chain management and to demonstrate their achievements by earning a Procurement Excellence Certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for obtaining the Procurement Excellence Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students must complete at least 21 credits according to the following structure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>13 credits from mandatory courses (3 courses)<\/li>\n<li>At least 8 credits from elective courses (selected from the 4 designated courses)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most courses are available in both Hungarian and English. The required credits may be completed over any number of semesters; however, all courses must be completed within the same degree programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mandatory Courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BMEGT20MN03 Quality Management \u2013 5 credits<\/li>\n<li>BMEGT20VVV1000-00 Basics of Procurement \u2013 3 credits<\/li>\n<li>BMEGT20VVV1001-00 Category Management \u2013 5 credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Elective Courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BMEGT20MN10 Logistics and Supply Chain Management \u2013 5 credits<\/li>\n<li>BMEGT20MN60 Today\u2019s Quality Management Challenges \u2013 3 credits<\/li>\n<li>BMEGT20MN04 Strategic Management \u2013 3 credits<\/li>\n<li>BMEGT20MN13 Project Management \u2013 5 credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applying for the certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To obtain the certificate, students must apply using the online form below, no later than the last day of the relevant examination period:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=q0g1anB1cUKRqFjaAGlwKaNtnn8DqqtNuGhAg-AkEKxUNkFFTUhFSzRCTkhZODNDMDdYUFVVOUNEUy4u&amp;route=shorturl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Procurement Excellence Programme<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After submitting their application, students will receive information about the certificate collection process.<\/p>\n<p>The Procurement Excellence Programme was established through a collaboration between the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and Schneider Electric.
