{"id":6654,"date":"2026-07-30T13:14:56","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/?p=6654"},"modified":"2026-07-30T13:14:58","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T13:14:58","slug":"eelisa-joint-masters-in-circular-economy-receives-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gtk.bme.hu\/en\/2026\/07\/30\/eelisa-joint-masters-in-circular-economy-receives-funding\/","title":{"rendered":"EELISA Joint Master\u2019s in circular economy receives funding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The proposal <a>\u201cEELISA-CE \u2013 Design and Development of an EELISA Joint Master Degree in Circular Economy\u201d<\/a>, submitted by Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) in cooperation with the <a>Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (UPM)<\/a>, has been selected for funding under the <a>1<sup>st <\/sup>EELISA Joint Academic Call 2026<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims to develop a joint international master\u2019s programme focusing on the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy. The initiative supports EELISA\u2019s goals by promoting interdisciplinary education, international collaboration, and sustainability-oriented knowledge development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the evaluators, the proposal is strongly aligned with the objectives of the call and presents a solid foundation for a future joint degree programme. The assessment highlighted the project\u2019s academic quality, interdisciplinary approach, and realistic implementation plan, as well as the close cooperation between the partner institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The project received a total requested budget of EUR 15,000<\/strong>, including EUR 10,000 for BME and EUR 5,000 for UPM.
