Leadership in Times of Uncertainty: How to Effectively Lead with Optimism and Focus

We are currently experiencing a lot of uncertainty and questions. Often crises bring out best in people or worst. This is no exception in leadership. Usually in times of crises and uncertainty, any flaw in leadership is exacerbated since they can no longer be masked or hidden by either organizational growth or positive external environment. So, the question is how do you lead effectively during the times of uncertainty? How do you exude optimism and stay focus on important areas when the external and internal environments do not lend themselves to it.
