Code of Studies
The Senate of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (henceforth BME) has issued the following regulations as a supplement to the Organisational Structural and Working Order of BME; taking into consideration the relevant statutes, particularly national law CCIV/2011 on higher education, modified several times (henceforth Nftv) as well as government decree 87/2015. (IV.9) about the enacting clause of Nftv. and government decree 387/2012 (XII.19.) (about the procedures for establishing a doctoral school and the conditions of obtaining a doctorate), and with the agreement of the University Student’s Union (henceforth EHK).
Stipendium Hungaricum Programme
Tempus Public Foundation (hereunder: Public Foundation) has issued the following regulations according to the authorisation by the Government Decree 285/2013 (26.07) on Stipendium Hungaricum (hereunder: Gov. Decree SH), in order to implement the Stipendium Hungaricum programme (hereunder: SH programme). The objective of the regulation is to define the operation of the programme and the rules indispensable to the operation of the programme. Based on the provisions of 3§ of the Governmental Decree No. 282/2017 (IX.22) the rules and regulations are approved by the Minister of Education.
Christian Young People Programme
Tempus Public Foundation (hereunder: Public Foundation) has issued the following regulations according to the authorisation by the 120/2017 (VI.1.) Government Decree which was modified by 227/2018 (XII.5) decree on Scholarship for Christian Young People (hereunder: Gov. Decree SCY), in order to implement Scholarship programme for Christian Young People (hereunder: SCY programme).
Scholarship Programme for the Hungarian Diaspora
The main aim of the Scholarship Programme for the Hungarian Diaspora is to give support to foreign students with Hungarian identity to pursue their studies in Hungarian higher education institutions. The Programme is organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, managed by Tempus Public Foundation. The Programme includes members of the Hungarian diaspora communities in every country in the world, except in the Member States of the European Union, the Republic of Serbia and the Zakarpatska Oblast part of Ukraine.
Doctoral School – Rules of Procedures
These Rules are based on Government Decree No. 387/2012 (XII.19.) on doctoral schools, the order of doctoral procedure and habilitation. They also take into account the relevant provisions of the CCVI Act of 2015 on national higher education (hereinafter referred to as: Nftv), the BME Code of Doctoral Studies and Habilitation (BME DHSZ), the BME Code of Studies (BME TVSZ) and the decisions of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (MAB) on doctoral training and graduation.
Doctoral and Habilitation Procedures
The Senate of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (hereinafter: University) has issued the following regulations as a supplement to the bylaws of the BME under Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education (hereinafter: NHEA) Section 12 (3) as well as in consideration of applicable rules, in particular the provisions ofthe NHEA, and Gov. Decree 387/2012 (XII.19.) on the doctoral schools, doctoral procedures and habilitation.
