Call for Abstracts: 2nd Danube Cup international conference on entrepreneurship – in 2023 hosted by the University of Belgrade

2023.08.23.

The first Danube Cup international conference in 2022 successfully connected researchers and educators in the area of entrepreneurship education at the Corvinus University of Budapest. This year’s conference is going to be hosted by the University of Belgrade in Serbia. The Call for Abstracts is now open.

The research and conference pillar of our Danube Cup international brand is spreading its wings with such great momentum that the 2023 conference is being organized by the University of Belgrade, with the assistance of the Corvinus University of Budapest.

The conference will take place on November 24th-25th, 2023 in Belgrade, Serbia, at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Website of the conference: https://danubecup.fon.bg.ac.rs/

Main focus of the 2nd Danube Cup Conference 2023:
Reasons, Content, Methods & Impact – How to Create a HEI-led Entrepreneurial Ecosystem?

The conference aims to bring together distinguished researchers and PhD students from all over the world, with particular focus on the Central and Eastern European region. Participants will find opportunities for presenting new research, exchanging information on their experiences with entrepreneurship education, and discussing current issues of entrepreneurship. Although we focus on Europe, colleagues from all entrepreneurship areas – theoretical or empirical – are highly encouraged to submit their abstracts.

Day 1: Keynotes and Academic Presentations

Keynote speakers:

  • Andrea S. Gubik, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Miskolc, (Hungary).
  • Jan-Philipp Ahrens, Professor at the University of Passau / University of Mannheim (Germany)

Research elevator pitch:

In response to the publisher’s proposals after last year’s Danube Cup conference – to generate more international publications, with a group of authors not belonging to the same institution/not representing the same country -, on November 25th, we are going to organise a research pitch session (Research elevator pitch) where colleagues can pitch their research, following the pitch template of Prof. Faff, with the aim of finding international collaborators for their intended research activity focusing on entrepreneurship education.
