The Intensive Seminar of the Master programmes of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (GTK), that has a more than 25 year old history, will again feature a number of international and national presenters.
The mission of our Faculty is to contribute to the sustainable solution of the challenges of the upcoming decades through interdisciplinary education, research and innovation across the fields of engineering, economic and social sciences represented by the University. The lectures and workshops of this year’s Intensive Seminar will play a major role in achieving this.
In addition to presenters from international higher education institutions and the corporate sector, participants will also have the opportunity to meet some of GTK’s outstanding lecturers.
The Intensive Seminar, which will take place between 17-19 October 2024, in addition to the lectures, will offer the opportunity to participate in a number of workshops, where smaller groups will work more intensively, with the participation of international and national corporate trainers and teaching-researching colleagues of our Faculty. Importantly, the event will also feature presenters from our alumni, who will inspire our students with their own achievements. This year for the first time there will also be presenters from GTK’s international alumni.
In the continuous development of the Intensive Seminar, besides the challenge-based professional workshops, the topics as the improvement of management- and communication skills, the use of artificial intelligence, the corporate governance and the sustainability, are prominently represented.
Participation in the Seminar is a great opportunity for the Hungarian and English-speaking students of our master programmes in economics to build relationships with each other. The Networking Event held on the third day of the Intensive Seminar will provide an excellent occasion to do so.
One of the aims of the Intensive Seminar is – in line with the vision of GTK – to foster the development of diverse and innovative professional communities, and to broaden students’ horizons by providing them with the knowledge that will contribute to understand and solve business challenges.
You can register for the Intensive Seminar until 8 September at 11:59 on the NEPTUN platform.
