Sixteen undergraduate students of the University of Edinburgh Business School arrived to Budapest for a few days in February. One of their activities was a visit to BlackRock investment fund and asset management company, where they were accompanied by sixteen members of ESTIEM (European Student Technical Managers’ Association), an international student organisation of our university.
During the company visit, the foreign and Hungarian students were able to gain an insight together into the operations of BlackRock, learn about the company’s activities and the opportunities that may open up also for them in the future. After the presentations, students took part in a quiz game to win BlackRock souvenirs, then at a standing reception they had the opportunity to have a conversation with each other and with the company’s staff about what they learnt during the visit.
