The delegation of the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) visited Budapest University of Technology and Economics Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences on 16th May 2024. The members of the delegation were:

• XU Yonglin, Vice President,
• XU Jiliang, Head of School of Finance, 
• QIAO Baojie, Dean of School of Law,
• WANG Yanyan, Dean of School of Chinese International Education,
• ZHANG Shuihui, Deputy Director of International Office.

The SUIBE delegation was welcomed by Dr. Tamás Koltai, Dean, Dr. Mária Szalmáné Csete, Vice Dean for International Affairs, Dr. András Bethlendi, Vice Dean for Finance, and Krisztina Kardos-Varga, administrative officer of the International Student Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mária Szalmané Csete, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, gave a presentation on the history of Faculty, the teaching and research portfolio, with special emphasis on the English-language Master’s programmes, and the Doctoral School of Business and Management, after which the guests presented information about their university and the possible connection points.

According to the discussion, future cooperation could include educational and research activities.
