Membership Management

BME GTK is an active member of various regional and international organizations.  One of our priorities is an active development of international cooperation and integration. Below you find the list of these organisations and cooperations:

EFMD
BME GTK holds membership in European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is a global network of business schools and corporations dedicated to enhance excellence in management education and development globally.

GARP
The Faculty is the first official Hungarian Academic Partner of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). GARP is the only globally recognized membership association for financial risk managers. GARP offers the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification, which is the most revered professional credential of the risk management profession. The partnership concerns the Master in Finance program of BME GTK.

CFA Institute
BME GTK became the second Hungarian university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program CFA Institute administers the investment industry gold standard CFA charter, which is the most revered professional credential of the investment professionals and the markets. The partnership concerns the Master in Finance program of BME GTK. The courses of the program incorporate more than 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge.

NISPAcee
In 2020 GTK became a member of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee). The NISPAcee is an international, non-governmental, non profit organization which brings together academics and practitioners from Central and Eastern Europe and beyond to discuss broad issues in public management and administration.

PRME
The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), initiated in 2007 with UN support, aims to prioritize sustainability in global education. It empowers current business students to lead positive change in the future through Six Principles. PRME’s objective is to develop future leaders capable of balancing economic and sustainability goals. It also emphasizes raising awareness about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the UN Global Compact.

SEFI
The European Society for Engineering Education is the largest network of higher engineering institutions and of individuals involved in engineering education in Europe. SEFI has the mission to contribute to the development and the improvement of the engineering education in Europe.

Cooperation with RIT
BME GTK also maintains an active scientific relationship with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) on regular basis.
