The BME for Sustainability programme aims at promoting cycling as a priority. As part of this, a bicycle breakfast will be organised on the university campus.

Time: 18 April 2023 (Tuesday), 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. (Rain date: 19 April 2023).
Venue: BME Building K, in front of the Library (‘The Bridge of Sighs’).

Lecturers and students arriving by bike between 8:00 and 10:00 on Tuesday 18 April 2023 will be offered a snack. The snacks will be available while supplies last, so it is indeed a good idea to arrive early.

The event will culminate at 9 a.m. with the Rector of BME welcoming all those arriving by bike and ceremonially handing over the newly purchased cycling tool kits which will be placed on the gates around the campus.

The cyclists will then ride together a lap of honour on the campus premises, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable transportation.
