BME has moved up a category in several disciplinary rankings and, uniquely in Hungary, is listed among the best universities in the world in engineering, natural sciences and economics.
Within the broad subject area of Social Sciences and Management of the British QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Rankings 2024, published on April 10, BME was also included in the narrow subject area of Business and Management Studies, achieving a rank of 551-600 globally.
The QS is one of the most prestigious university rankings, ranking the top 4-5% of the world’s universities. This year, 1559 higher education institutions have been ranked across fifty-five individual subjects within five broad subject areas based on academic recognition, employer assessments, citations, the Hirsch Index and international research collaborations.
