On October 10, 2025, a new collaboration between BME and OTP Bank kicked off, offering 15 students the opportunity to consult at least six times during the academic year with senior executives of OTP Bank, which employs 40,000 people. Through these sessions, participants gain insight into the operations of one of Hungary’s largest companies and learn about leadership practices and attitudes.
The four-month mentoring program is open to students who are either enrolled in a master’s program or have successfully completed at least one year of their bachelor’s studies.
This Mentoring Program is not an internship – it is much more than that. According to Péter Bihari, Vice-Rector for Education at BME, the OTP Bank–BME Mentoring Program represents the meeting of two worlds built on shared values and principles. Both institutions are committed to excellence and innovation, united by their belief in knowledge and investment. This collaboration creates synergies between the financial-economic sector and BME’s professional expertise, laying the foundation for long-term success.
The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (BME GTK) is proud to announce that 11 students from our Faculty have been selected to participate in the OTP-BME Mentoring Program.
Congratulations to our students, and we wish them every success!
