From the 2020/2021 academic year, the use of Refinitiv Eikon (Thomson Reuters) has been integrated into the curriculum of the BME GTK Master in Finance program. Thomson Reuters is the industry’s leading data, news, and content provider, covering trading data from the world’s largest stock exchanges.
From this academic year, our Master in Finance students are allowed to use Refinitiv Eikon as a Virtual Finance Laboratory on their own as well. Students can access Eikon’s pricing and analysis system and its database with prior registration; hence they can study and prepare for their thesis work based on real market data. The Department of Finance operates the Virtual Finance Laboratory.
