In 2020 BME entered into an alliance with eight prestigious European universities to work as part of the EELISA consortium to start joint degree programmes and research projects while making efforts to achieve the long-term goal of a single cross-border European accreditation in engineering.
The mission of the consortium is to create a new European education model through which to define the “European engineer”: a professional who is ready to work within interdisciplinary, multilingual and diverse pan-European environments. EELISA aims to encourage knowledge and technology transfer, to apply a comprehensive approach to engineering education through interdisciplinary engineering learning.
Academics and researchers from all EELISA institutions are expected to converge in and be the driving force of EELISA COMMUNITIES. This is the purpose of EELISAconnect First Wave – a workshop series that focuses on creating connections and synergies between professors and researchers through five online sessions with five key topics.
Join, connect and share your experiences and ideas with others through EELISAconnect workshops. The list of workshops and topics are available on EELISA’s website. Fill in the registration form and be part of the community.
