Prof. José G. He offered insights into his current research activities via a lecture entitled „Entrepreneurship fostering a Social Inclusive Civic Culture Model” for the students of the Regional and Environmental Economic master programme.
Prof. José G. Vargas-Hernandes introduced a model of entrepreneurial inclusive civil culture. This pilot project was a milestone in the regeneration of public spaces with a project of social and environmental relevance. “The entrepreneurial intentions of the stakeholders and actors involved in the project have predicted the entrepreneurial behaviors, confirming the theory of planned behavior and their entrepreneurial activities to create opportunities to influence economic performance. Moreover, the implemented model of entrepreneurial inclusive civic culture has demonstrated that entrepreneurial intentions and activities are beyond increasing economic growth and efficiency, to have an influence on social development, inclusiveness, equality, and justice. Furthermore, in the field of environmental sustainability, the model clearly has impacts on the improvement of the socio-ecosystem and biodiversity.”
