EFMD online event: 2026 EFMD AI-Enhanced Teaching (5 modules 15-29 September 2026)

2026.07.07.

The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (BME GTK), as EFMD member warmly encourage colleagues, lecturers, administrators and faculty to join this online event and explore how AI can be applied responsibly and effectively in the teaching and learning process. The AI-enhanced learning workshop provides a structured, hands-on space for faculty and learning professionals to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI in business education. The focus is on moving from curiosity to application: not only learning about AI, but designing strategies and activities that can be implemented immediately, while also developing the critical mindset needed to adapt to tools and approaches that don’t yet exist.

Date and time with programme:

1. 15 Sept. 2026
14:00-15:00 CET, Session 1 (Module 1 – Foundations of AI):
Introducing core concepts of AI in business education. Participants leave with a concrete homework task: selecting a session or activity from their own teaching to design, re-design or re-evaluate with AI.

2. 17 Sept. 2026
14:00-16:00 CET, Session 2 (Module 2 – Course and Content Design, Part 1):
Live session introducing design principles and AI tools, followed by collaborative workshopping. Participants begin redesigning part of their course during the session and continue working independently afterwards.

3. 22 Sept. 2026
14:00-16:00 CET, Session 3 (Module 2 – Part 2 / Transition to Module 3):
Review and finalise course redesigns started in Session 2. Introduction of Module 3 concepts on integrating AI activities into existing teaching. Homework: select an assignment or classroom activity to enhance with AI and start prototyping.

4. 24 Sept. 2026
14:00-16:00 CET, Session 4 (Module 3 – AI Activities):
Workshop-style session where participants bring their chosen activities, test them, and receive feedback. The session concludes with a group review of outcomes and peer sharing.

5. 29 Sept. 2026
14:00-16:00 CET, Session 5 (Reflections & Next Steps):
A short wrap-up session to consolidate learning, share key takeaways, and discuss strategies for ongoing adaptation as AI evolves.
